Drug Awareness Seminar

posted Sep 7, 2016, 6:57 PM by Keith Cravotta

DeWitt High School will be providing an informational seminar to heighten drug awareness in our community, specifically targeting high school students and young adults.  The format will include individuals sharing basic information, specific scenarios and an opportunity to ask questions to our panel of experts.  Our team of professionals will include law enforcement officers from DeWitt City, DeWitt Township, Clinton County, and Lansing City/Township, as well as doctors, counselor(s), and a representative from Families Against Narcotics.  They will provide you with actual accounts with what is happening in our community and surrounding area, as it relates to drug activity and those targeted. Please use this as an opportunity not only to be informed, but to ask questions and share your concerns.  This panel is a wonderful resource and are volunteering their time to help out.

The meeting will be held on October 17, 2016 at 6:30 pm in the high school auditorium and running until approximately 7:45 pm.

Please plan to attend even if you feel this does not pertain to your child, as it is very informative and a tremendous opportunity to gain first hand information of some of the real-life issues our youth face today.
